LAURENCE PANADERO is a contemporary French artist living in Miami, Florida.
Born in Rouen, Capital of Normandy
located 1h from Paris and called ' The City of a Hundred Spires', known for its Cathedral where Joan of Arc is Resting, its Vikings History,its magical Medieval Streets and the land of impressionism, her childhood
While she is best known for her sculptures, large scale installations and performances, she also loves working with teams and dedicated her life to education through the Arts, Hosting events, workshops and classes for thousands over they years
Laurence was introduced at an early age to the World of Art
Her spectrum of knowledge spans from the “Beaux Arts School” to studying Baroque Art in Rome;
From drawing advertising designs as a roughman and AD junior at DDB worldwide to sculpting at the Superior National Art School of Applicative Arts, Paris.
Laurence has a rich and complete formation that allows her to express herself in many different mediums.
Her life has led her to meet notable personalities such as American author Israel Horovitz, where she was the Art Director and Scenographer for the French adaptation of "The Indian Wants the Bronx" a play that brought major success to Horovitz and actor Al Pacino off-Broadway 30 years ago.
She loves theater and believes an artist can communicate through any kind of media.
Laurence continued her true passion sculpting endlessly ehich secured her a job proposition with Bombyx / Attakus the famed worldwide sculpting studio in Paris. What was supposed be only a summer job ended up being a 6-year tenure learning and working with projects ranging in complexity from small prototypes to monumental contemporary art for city orders and museums.
Laurence learned to be a great technician and had the chance to work for major companies such as Marvel Comics, Warner Brothers, Star Wars, Atlas, Dior, Disney, Lansay and many famous artists.
She developed her technical art skills to be able to pursue her dreams as an artist!
Meanwhile, she decided to open a non-profit organization called VIM (energy/vigor). The mission of VIM was to bring to realization, promotion, and diffusion many types of artistic creation, for any spectacle, event or exhibitions. VIM has taken part in more than 150 events, producing and curating shows, organizing actions and partnerships with associations and other non-profits giving for the cause,
Vim has represented over 100 artists from emerging to renowned.
L. Panadero left Bombyx / Attakus ready to take on her independence and couragously opened her own studio creating sculptures, designs, decors for advertising and music video, multiple shows and events (to name a few : Nicolas, Mercure Hotels, Francoise Hardy / Midi Minuit Prod, Phoenix / Lelia film, Point vert, 804, Queen, Bains douche, Gibus, The Goddess Mother Dance Show / International Tour in collaboration with Pierre Guffroy (Pirates of Polanski / Cocteau etc…)
In 2006 Laurence moved to the US and curated a few shows, bringing with her VIM which became VIM International.
Inviting Parisians Artist to America, she worked in the Miami Design District, sponsored by DACRA and collaborated with Art Miami on their Event Closing.
Today Laurence's sculptures and installations offer a combination between technology and tradition.
She gives us reflections on themes that touch our society as Architecture, Cloning, Manga and Plastic Surgery, touching on all human relationships.....
From miniature to monumental art, from performance to research, she works and exhibits her pieces of art for an international clientele.
L. Panadero’s newest work, " SAMURAI" or " The New Dark Age" is scheduled to be released in the Fall of 2022
